Ever wonder where you are in the Body of Christ?
In Ephesians, Paul gives us a lesson into where we are, what we do, and our ability to do it.
"But speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things
into him who is the head Christ from whom the whole body joined and knit
together by what the every joint supplies according to the effective working by
which every part does its share causes growth of the body for the edifying of
itself in love" Ephesians 4; 15, 16.
In verse 16, we hear that we are the joints of the body. We
are the moving parts. We are the movable pieces in Christ’s body. We are not
the bones in between but the springs and pulleys that maneuver to get the work
done. We are not even the muscles; God is the muscle that gives us our power.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4; 13
