Eve Could Have Said No

“For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil” Genesis 3:5.

Deceived in paradise! Even while living in the most absolute perfect home, Eve chose wrongly. Accepting Satan’s offer did not make her like God but was her ruin. Eve knew right from wrong and could have said no, keeping her innocence intact.

Women today can say no in situations others push upon them, those who wish to control and manipulate them for their own evil and selfish purposes.

All decisions have consequences, good or bad. Choose wisely.

First day At Camp

A Christian should meet every day like the first day at camp.

With an excitement of the unknown,
yet with Jesus,
you know it will be awesome!

God Can Close Down Churches

In my Ebook *Squished! Why God Seemingly Destroys Our Fruit, I wrote of how I came to understand that a building really isn't the church and the place we worship isn't the main platform to spread the Gospel.

When my home church almost closed its doors after our Pastor resigned it appeared a disaster. It split the church and members left until the count was less than half of the former size.

The Ebook Squished! got its title from my personal lesson that it doesn't matter what you might think you're doing for God is a good thing. It matters what God wants to you to do that's even better. If He has to press a church down in intense crushing, He can.

The pressure didn't close us down but that trial took us right back to our 'first love'. As I tell in the book, we are cleaner, more aromatic for God's purpose. If God hadn't allowed what we considered a disaster, we might have never known the new ministries we have today. The new workers who stepped into ministry might never have known they were capable of serving God in new and powerful ways.

I wrote *Squished! Why God Seemingly Destroys Our Fruit because I saw God do something amazing to a church that thought it was going along producing fruit, yet we needed a time of pressure to make us more useful.  God almost closed our church but He had a purpose.

Christians spread the Gospel, not buildings. It is the people who are God's body and its the people who do the work. If God wants to close a building and scatter the people, He can do it. If we're listening and learning, God will always get the glory.

Glory to God.

God's Beautiful Creation--Woman

Judah begot Perez and Zerah by Tamar…” Matthew 1:3.

It takes male and female to beget another human. God made Adam for fatherhood, and He made Eve for motherhood, two vastly different roles but equally very important in parenthood today.

It matters not if a baby is born in or out of wedlock, artificially placed in the womb, or grown in a science lab petri dish, the woman is still the female counterpart to the male.

Women are very special in the growth of humankind. There can be no world population without God’s beautiful creation—woman.

Stick to the Truth

When I began setting up to have a nonfiction book published, I discovered how closely God wants us to guard His Word. Because the book would be about a personal Spiritual experience, when it started to come together in form and format, I had this growing concern about representing my God in truth.

While in the process of putting together the pages from my journal, where my Ebook emerged, an acquaintance of mine was also writing a book about 'Jesus'. Unfortunately, she has Spiritualism other than the Holy Spirit. Listening to her reading excerpts from her book, I feared for her in her ignorance of God and Jesus.* Her errors and lack of knowledge caused me to be very diligent to adhere to the Biblical truth about God as written in the Scriptures.

Because I know Jesus as Lord and Savior, I often wonder how people can, without fear, write things trying to discredit God.

In the Introduction of my Ebook Squished! Why God Seemingly Destroys Our Fruit, I tell how I attempted staying to the Biblical truths of God as written in Scriptures, not trying to add to or take away from the Perfectness of God.

Squished! is my adventure through a fresh look at the Bible as a Supernatural Book about God. While going through a tough time, I discovered many amazing things just by approaching the Bible as a Very Special Book unto God, from God to us. It was an eye-opener!

If you would like to read it, you can find it in the Westbow Press website bookstore, Barnes & Noble Nook Books, and Amazon Kindle. Squished! Why God Seemingly Destroys Our Fruit

* In witnessing to this woman I find she is involved in a spiritualistic situation that combines many beliefs and minimizes the Gospel to whatever makes her feel good.

Women--God's Creation

“So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him, male and female created He them” Genesis 1:27.
The creation of woman was a special work of God, to make her someone important in His plan for all things. God wanted two people the same, yet different, while equal, compatible, and companionable. When God took the rib from Adam, and created Eve, He made women to be the very special feminine counterpart to the masculine. That way, man and woman each fulfill the place in God’s creation made especially for their existence. Women being women glorify God.

The Bible is One-Note

There is a common saying that describes a single-minded person. they can be called A One-Note personality. that type of person can talk or discuss their subject to no end and tell you all the ins and outs without wavering. They can go on and on for hours about their favorite topic from topic

The Bible has a One-Note topic. That topic is Jesus.

From the first verse in Genesis, we see Jesus as God, because we know Jesus is one with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Therefore we accept Jesus place in the very first Verse of the Bible.
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth" Genesis 1; 1. (NKJV)

Read all the way through the entire Bible and we see Jesus in every book. God is in His book. We see His power, His love, His creation, His wisdom, His compassion, His actions, His wrath, His being, His purpose, and many other attributes of His character, His person and His Deity.

When we reach the final words of the book, it mentions Jesus.
"The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen" Revelation 22:21.

We have the Living Holy Word embedded in the Written Holy Word. There is no way to separate the two on earth.

When we get to stand before the throne (prostrate ourselves before the throne) we will see the love of God that kept Jesus on the cross. The One-Note will be revealed in all Glory and we will totally understand our place in that One-Note, our Lord and Savior Jesus.

"Beloved, now we are children of God: and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is" 1 John 3:2

The Power of God's Word

I like to read the Psalms as prayers back to God. I believe most, if not all, were written as prayers set to music. The last of the book, the Songs of Ascension as they are called, are beautiful prayers of adoration. But I like to read the whole book, even the ones speaking of God's wrath and how the writers asked God to bring His anger and power down on their enemies.

I've heard it said we cannot, as Christians today, say many of the Psalms with the same emphasis on asking God's wrath against our enemies, such as Psalms 10 & 58. On the contrary, I believe there is a place for us to say such prayers today against our enemies and I see our justification for such prayers in Ephesians 6: 12.

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in the heavenly places" Eph 6;12.

Do you see it? We can pray these Psalms against the Devil and his demon hoards. They are our true enemies in this world

Jesus said to pray in His grace and love for our human enemies and for those who spitefully use us, (Matt 5:44), but we know Satan and his demons are beyond the realm of God's love and grace.

So, yes, we can pray these against them with all our might and faith in God!

"For we walk by faith, not by sight" 2 Corinthians 5; 7

Jesus Wants Us to Be Happy

"Rejoice always" 1  Thessalonians 5: 16

Ever been wildly, hysterically happy, laughing, smiling and rejoicing?

Jesus came to a sinful world to give us all things in great abundance. (John 10: 10) He certainly gives us salvation to the fullest. No one who asks Jesus to save them is only a little bit saved are they? No, they are altogether saved.

In Christ, we can live life more fully also. We in Christ Jesus have more life than the unsaved. We get more joy from food, fun, games, our families and friends, sunsets and sunrises, all things. We sing more wonderful songs. We have more love for everyone, and especially the company of other believers in Fellowship in Christ Jesus.

If we trust in Jesus for our salvation, our lives should show others that we are happy that we are saved and going to heaven someday.

How does our happiness affect others? Ever start to giggle and have others begin to giggle because you’re giggling? How does it affect you when other people are happy? Ever start laughing because another is laughing?

Jesus wants us, as Christians, to let other people know that we have our happiness in Him. That the joy and happiness others see in us will make them want Jesus as their Savior.

Use your love of Jesus as your reason for all that you do, no matter what it is. Note the affects it has on you. Note the effects it has on others. Our obedience in the simplest acts of love makes Jesus happy.
